As I’m recovering from my surgery, I’m noticing that I’m craving comfort food left and right. Not surprising, as this type of situation definitely calls for some comfort.

Today has been an ongoing battle between craving and resistance. The temptation? A delicious, refreshing orange ice cream float. Have you ever had one? Easy to make….not so easy to turn down.

While sitting here resisting this craving, I can’t help but think about instant gratification vs. long-term success. Sure, I can give in and enjoy an orange crush. Today’s video provides some insight on making choices based on your long-term goals rather than short-term satisfaction.

Please feel free to share below what choices you’ve recently made based on your life goals and how you want to live.
